METROBRICK® Thin Brick products are tested to meet demanding exterior thin brick installation requirements. Product testing gives you the peace of mind to know METROBRICK Thin Brick will perform up to your expectations.
METROBRICK THIN BRICK TEST RESULTS
The following test results show METROBRICK kiln-fired thin brick meets the standards for thin brick used in exterior application including the PCI Standard for thin brick. Not all thin bricks are tested for dimensional tolerances, water absorption standards, pull-out bond standards, freeze-thaw resistance and other specific requirements.
Ironrock’s METROBRICK Thin Brick shall be of standard grade quality and shall exceed all of the requirements of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) C-1088, the standard specifications for thin veneer brick units made from clay or shale.
The ASTM C-1088 standard specifications also require the ASTM C-67 Standard Test Methods for Sampling and Testing Brick and Structural Clay Tile as shown below:

“METROBRICK” will exceed the applicable ANSI (American National Standards Institute) requirements.
